Complaint: loss of appetite

Cause: The lack of appetite is usually caused by an irregular diet and frequent snacking between meals. In Ayurveda, this problem is taken very seriously, because a reduced metabolism is the root of all evil.

The treatment: In general, if you have a lack of appetite, all medicinal plants and herbs that reduce Kapha are indicated.

aperitif

An aperitif made from fresh, finely chopped or crushed basil leaves has proven to be effective. You can add a little hot water, the juice of half a lemon, half a teaspoon of finely chopped fresh ginger and a teaspoon of honey, three times a day before meals.

tea

After meals, a tea made from thyme, black pepper and wormwood is recommended.

Nutrition

Your diet should also be changed to reduce Kapha. Avoid all snacks and simply skip the evening meal until you feel better.
