Too rich and fatty foods, flatulent foods or carbonated drinks, hasty and especially irregular eating such as eating disorders can lead to flatulence.

The treatment: First of all, when treating the problem, it is important to consider when the symptoms occur.

Flatulence on an empty stomach: The treatment here is the same as for loss of appetite.

Flatulence immediately or within one hour after meals: This flatulence is caused by restricted liver function. Drink one to two cups of dandelion tea three times a day directly after meals. The diet must reduce pitta.

Flatulence 3 to 4 hours after meals: Asafoetida can help here, taken alone or in combination with cumin, fennel and coriander mixed with honey and taken. The diet should be adjusted to reduce Vata and should be eaten at very regular intervals.
